During the period of heavy flood in the year 2021, DHD Social Foundation extended humanitarian support by distributing GI sheets to people in nearby affected areas to provide immediate relief and shelter. The initiative was conducted in the presence of Naam Foundation, reflecting a shared commitment towards community welfare and disaster response. This effort aimed to support vulnerable households during the crisis by ensuring basic protection, safety, and assistance in rebuilding their lives.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, DHD Social Foundation extended support to Malkapur Nagarpalika by providing essential civic tools to strengthen their operational capacity. This initiative aimed to assist in managing critical logistics and improving service delivery during a time of unprecedented challenge. The support helped enable efficient public service operations while ensuring dignity and care for the community. As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, DHD Social Foundation organized a Tree Plantation Drive on the occasion of the Senior Citizen Golden Jubilee Program and a Plant Distribution Program for school students on separate occasions. During the Tree Plantation Drive, more than 500 indigenous saplings were planted across the campus to promote a greener and healthier environment. The Plant Distribution Program aimed to encourage environmental awareness and instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among students. Both initiatives witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, senior citizens, and community members, fostering a strong commitment to sustainable living, environmental conservation, and community engagement.
